They claim that the weight of their lives is suffocating them and that sadness has infiltrated their art in a way that serves no purpose other than to make them sad and despised.

They are still battling bipolar disorder and were 17 when admitted to a psychiatric facility.

Halsey has been dealing with several medical issues, including mental health. After being frequently hospitalized, they were diagnosed with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS), Sjogren's syndrome, and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. She believes it might be an autoimmune disease and is looking for some answers. They believe the root cause is autoimmune diseases and do not want her fans to be concerned.
