They are still battling bipolar disorder and were 17 when admitted to a psychiatric facility.

They said to their manager they were not going to do anything terrible, but were scared. They say it's been happening inside their bodies and they know how to stand in front of it. Halsey has been dealing with several medical issues, including mental health. After being frequently hospitalized, they were diagnosed with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS), Sjogren's syndrome, and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. She believes it might be an autoimmune disease and is looking for some answers. They believe the root cause is autoimmune diseases and do not want her fans to be concerned.
