Moonlight

You make a clean track, man!

The flow is really nice throughout, the piano gives a nice break, and it's a smooth transition into the chimes/bells, and the synths following up are the "right" choice. I like the syncopation of the lead on top of the pad, it solidifies the groovy trancey feel.

You got a fan! Don't stop playing music, mate!

Thank you so much for your awesome review! I'm glad you enjoyed my song! I upload music more regularly on my YouTube channel, so I recommend following me there if you want to keep up with my latest remixes and original music. I also make cool piano visualizer videos with each song! :D

Surprisingly Catchy Song

Hey not half-bad, mate!

The lead takes me back to Eiffel 65 in a way, like Silicon World; it's bouncy and has a real Euro-dance feel to it. The synth sweeps just add to the overall effect in the best way.

Nice work!

GlitchmanVGMresponds:

Thank you! That's what I was going for, a happy bouncy song with a simple catchy melody that makes you want to dance. :D

Idegtépő loop

It's got a swaying hypnotic (as I read the tag "drunk" lol) feel to it. Has potential to build up and bound off or break away into something nice. Not bad for all MIDI tracks!

Arika2responds:

Thanks :P <3

Húst a hússal (unfinished)

It's got some great raw elements that have potential to be a solid song! There could be some breaks with some fades-in and -out; right now they're good components, but they could be more strategically structured. Maybe some cuts to half time, and/or alternate the sounds with each other, or some strings or brass, or just noise, idk.

Not bad!

Arika2responds:

Thanks :P
I'll probably use this ideas in the future, but I should find my way to get the right sounds and techniques I'd like to use in my own style though
I'm pretty much just a beginner....

Nightfall

This is one well-built track, the sounds fit together nicely and the whole thing is nicely shaped.

I feel like I could use some more variation in volume levels; changes in dynamic to give a rising action / climax / falling action kind of feel; fades-in and -out would help give those already lovely chimes a nice dramatic effect!

Solid tune, it's eerie and fun. Has a Gravity Falls kind-of sound going on

Thsnk you for your review, i will keep this in mind maybe for next projects.

Aftermath

It's got strong "cutscene/backstory" sort of vibes

It's a good, solid, piano-centric track. I envy that you can produce a nice piano song lol

LordAndisoresponds:

i agree :) I started out by playing the real piano, i was playing around fifths.. started by playing C G D A E notes on piano... it sounded magical.. played it as a chord.. i felt a melody inside my head.. then i built it from there... but it's mostly just a lot of experience.

Summer Beaver

Got a jaunty lil tune here, mate!

The 1/16th note hi-hats are a little distracting at some parts (i.e. 1:04); maybe switch it with 1/8th or 1/4th note duration when it picks back up at 1:29.

It's a great track, I could hunt Pokemon all day to this!

GrizzlyCogsresponds:

Hey, thanks for the tip and for the kind words ! I didn't realize that when I made it, but you're right ! I'll work again on it ! cheers

rou rou airlines

It's well built and has a great shape and feel!

I feel like the "squeaky" synths are a bit loud, and I lost the beat at a couple times because of it.

It's a fun song, keep it up

GrizzlyCogsresponds:

Thank you ! Yeah, I know the track has some mixing issues, but it was made in one week, (as the other one from this year), so i sometimes don't have the time to records all the instruments perfectly and mix them together, it's more a demo thing. I will continue to work on them after weekly beats :) thanks for the review !

Scrapped Toys in New Attire

Your synth sounds are magical!

TebyTheCatresponds:

Damn, you went listening to some of my old stuff and found something nice to say! Thanks!

Crows

Good stuff, m8, very chill and lo-fi and goes down smooth. When the parts and sounds all come together and are such a good fit like in this track, it could easily just go and go and go...

I think with the ambient/BGM vibe maybe a slow little fade out would have been more fitting, as it kind of just cuts. At the end.

You've definitely kept the "melancholy" vibe from the original, and I like what you did about replacing the woodwind sound with some more syncopated plucks and such.

LordAndisoresponds:

Thanks :D yeah.. about that cut off.. in reality i was a bit lazy to finish it.. i have a lot better stuff cooking up that's why xD but i did learn something from this track.. i always do.. so nothing is a waste :)
